John Mills II, Don Mills Jr, and Elmer Hopper, The Mills Brothers, continue the legacy that has not stopped since 1910. Guest Artist Gina Eckstine, daughter of legendary jazz singer Billy Eckstine, also joins them to perform.
The Mills Brothers are the longest continually-performing familial singing group in American musical history, this year passing the 100-year mark, with charted hits in every decade from the early ‘30s to early ‘80s, with a new release just recorded in 2011. They were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1998. Donald Mills, Sr. was presented with a Grammy for Lifetime Achievement in 1998.
This Concert is a Benefit Performance, with a portion of the proceeds dedicated to support the Norris Education Department.
